oh by the way...

There's a giveaway going on right now at peaches and blush . It's for your choice of any three nail polishes in their collection.
I'm very much enjoying the looks of a few of these, including  Denim, Jealousy, Razzle Dazzle, Voodoo, and Electric Blue. Contest runs until the end of September.

ok so I think it's time for...

RANDOM GLITTER POST!!!
Ahem...I'm better now.
Glitter makes meh happy, so that's what I'm going to do now...spread the glittery love.
I claim no ownership of any of these pictures. Google images, bitches. (that being said, I'm not in this to ruffle any feathers, so if you see a picture that you own and don't wish it to be on my page, email me and I'll gladly remove it)

First look for the new blog.

Sorry I don't have a better title, but you'll live.
The look I did is one of my absolute favorites. I love purple and green together, and wear the combo as often as possible, making it look fresh everytime (I hope.)
Products I planned on using:
NYX Eyeshadow base in White. If you haven't had the good fortune to try this, you need to. I hear hautelook.com will be having a sale next Tuesday, Sept 27th, so you might be able to get this beauty on the cheap. As it is, it's normal price is only like $7. (You have to be a member of HL to take advantage of the sale, but from what I recall, signup's pretty easy, and best of all, free.)

Hard Candy Lash Ink mascara. This mascara promises 4 days of lash tint. It does seem to last forever, but I dunno about 4 days. Maybe 2. The downside to this is it leaves your eyelashes feeling..thick. I know that sounds weird, but there's no better way to describe it. Try it for yourself. There's no extra weight on your lashes/lids, it just feels...weird. But I digress.

Dawn Eyes Cosmetics eyeshadow in Breathtaking. Her website is listed here . I won a facebook contest and was sent a bunch of samples, mostly from the purple family (blurple is amazing as well, check the pages and pictures in the link!) Breathtaking quickly became one of my favorites out of the bunch.

Shiro Cosmetics eyeshadow in Rattata. I am in complete and utter love with shiro. I will forever love this company for making this color right here. Rattata is an amazing color as well, though.

Kim's Kreations eyeshadow in Cryogenic. Another fb pick up, Cryogenic is a great grassy green with an insane amount of shimmer.

Pretty Addictions eyeshadow in Norma Jean.prettyaddictions is a great company with vibrant colored shadows and a kickass website- who doesn't love leopard print?

Hard Candy Showgirl glitter. Didn't use, ran out of time.

Maybelline eyeliner in Black. My go-to eyeliner, I love it.

Mark hook up lip gloss in Girly-Girl. I got this for free for agreeing to review a couple Mark products. It goes on smooth, isn't sticky, and smells like toothpaste. Awesome.
Here's the look I ended up with.

For anyone who cares, yes, I am wearing a top. It's strapless, and no, I didn't consider that when I was taking the picture (-.-. )The first pic has ms paint clothes applied (-.- again)
sparklies are not adequately captured. =[ I am sad. But it looked kickass in real life, and that's all good too.

Blogger has eaten my blog =[

Or, at the very least, it's taken it, shoved it into a corner, and dumped a Snorlax on top of it, because I CAN'T ACCESS IT.
In hindsight, it's not such a big loss, since the damn thing hasn't been touched in,oh...4 months...I kind of suck at updating. But I'm trying to get back into the swing of things.
Interestingly, you can still read my old blog here . I just can't sign into it, because of the Snorlax :(. As far as the new blogname/ address, sorry, there's no real meaning behind either of them. I just liked the way it sounded. And it's my blog, so what I say, goes!
Regular postings will be up soon...I really mean it this time.
But for the initial post tonight, I'm going to deviate from the makeup aspect of my life, and show off my home fragrance haul =]
I rarely purchase candles, even though my job allows me access to plenty of awesome scents. I satisfy myself normally by sniffing the candles on the clock (shhh.)
These three, though, I couldn't resist:
Slatkin & Co 14.5 oz three wick candles.
Hot Chocolate: Described as ''the perfect blend of milk chocolate, steamed milk, and sweet marshmallow fluff.'' This is sitting next to me right now, I leaned over it to read the fragrance list, and go a whiff of milk chocolate candy bar. Yum.
Mint Chocolate: Semi-sweet chocolate, dark cocoa and peppermint with vanilla cream and white chocolate. My holdover favorite from last year- Junior Mints are a major candy weakness, and this candle captures that scent to a t.
Dark Chocolate Mint: A new one for this year (along with HC). DCM is a blend of dark chocolate shavings and pure peppermint, with rich vanilla cream and a touch of caramel.
I can't say I smell the touch of caramel. It's possible it was a mere breath of caramel, and not anything as heavy as a touch. REgardless, it's AMAZING. It smells like chocolate frosting and I want to eat it.
I have many, MANY looks and reviews to do, including Shiro Cosmetics, Liplicious gloss, and many more. Bare with me as I get my sad little blog up and running =]
